My Online Judge (Social Network for Programming)

Hello,

I am currently working on a research project for my university and I've been inspired to create a social network for programming. My Online Judge (MOJ) is a page where you can connect accounts of different judges such as COJ, UVA, CodeForces, etc to share your stats with other users. You can also share your programs, news and projects. Today I started my first test phase on the page and I would like you to be part of it. I hope to receive your feedback, so I can bring this project forward.

How to add CF handle?

    Visit your profile in MOJ and click on "Edit profile", there you will find a field to put your CodeForces handle. Once that's done, visit your profile in MOJ once more and under "CodeForces Stats" there should be a 4 character key that you need to paste it in your firstname field here on CodeForces. This is a simple one-time validation to make sure that the person claiming the handle is actually the real owner. After that, simply click refresh under "CodeForces Stats" and you should be good to go!

It's a very nice website! The format and layout is really clean, and there's not many ads. But you know, Ahmed-Aly already does something similar. But I like this one, since the layout is cleaner and easier to use. I think, you should add a bit more online judges here. For examples:

  • SPOJ
  • URI Online Judge
  • HackerRank

Also, it's better if "Browse Equivalence" and "Report Equivalence" are in the "More >>" tab. Then, you can move "Blogs" or "Dashboard" to the main tab, since I imagine more people will use those.

It's also nice if we can chat with friends, like in Facebook (that would be the "social network" aspect of it). Then we can discuss problems or solutions.

Finally, I think that "My Online Judge" should have some of its own unique problems too! Maybe it's quite difficult to set up an online judge, but it would be a great addition.

I can see this website getting more popular in the future, so I hope that you will make it the best it can be!

      Also, I am not able to validate the UVa account or the Codeforces account. I have changed already my first name, I even changed the last name and the native name for the Codeforces, but it is still stuck to "Paste this key in your firstname". Is this a bug, or it just takes a long time?

  1. Please add a way to login using google or github account

  2. I have added my CF account and now i dont know what does " Paste this key in your firstname: 6a98" mean. Please, elaborate UPD: understood, it's for verifying if the acc is really mine.
