Hi everyone, I started to practice about 2 months ago, but I've realized after a month that I hadn't been practicing "correctly." Since then, from February to now, I've been practicing more up-to-date problems and at around a level of 1200-1300. I've focused mainly on number theory, and based on my spreadsheet, I have about a 30% rate of getting 1200-1300 problems correctly after about a month of practice. Since about a week ago I've started to write down my thoughts during and after finishing/giving up on the problem. I spend about 30-40 minutes on each one. I do 1-2 problems a day, and I try to do them more than 4 days a week, and yet I feel that I have not improved. I feel 1100 is too easy since I have more than a 60% AC rate, and so I'm pretty sure I'm practicing at the right level

How long did you guys spend improving on specifically number theory, and what got you guys out of that rut? It is really discouraging and frustrating to feel that I have not gotten any better since I've started practicing.

30%? I thought I had to have a 100% AC because if a problem like that comes up in a contest, only this could get me to the 90% I'll solve, and quickly too, xd
